The stunning Gaffer Extra was purchased at the Gigginstown sale in 2022. The male sale topper on the day, his package of phenotype, pedigree and figures meant he was a must have for Lemonfield.
His sire Liss Maxy R537 has consistently sired both male and female sale toppers for Gigginstown and descends from the famous Miylo of Liss family line.
His dam’s pedigree is equally as impressive, descending from Wells Gammer 2K, one of the original Canadian imports which founded the Gigginstown herd. Add in bulls such and Ebon Hill Extra Gold, Jeremy Eric of Bridgefoot and DMM No Fear and you get something special!

Birches Lord Jock V732 is a bull that oozes quality from the tip of his nose to the bottom of his tail.
A carbon copy of his sire Cheeklaw Emyln P4480 who was purchased by the Matchett family and later went on to claim the supreme All-Ireland championship and RDS champion of champions.
Lord Jocks dam has proven herself to be one of the best in the Birches herd having also produced Birches Lady Julie U507 who stood supreme Balmoral champion in 2019.

Lemonfield Uxas was the pick of our 2021 born bulls and so was retained for private use. However, he was quickly spotted by Eurogene AI and was later entered for stud.
His sire is the Canadian high seller HF Alcatraz 60F who sold for a record $200,000. While his dam is a ¾ sister to previous stock bull Carrigroe Magic and hugely successful AI bull Carrigroe Kian.
This depth of proven to perform genetics means Uxas continues to be used in the herd through AI.

Pragmatics dam was our pick from the Tara herd Production sale in 2021 bringing together a host of figures and family lines proven throughout the world such as Ebony’s, Evora’s, Kim’s and Rosebuds.
